Shreddin' Waves
Over the course of a few weeks, this blank skate deck was painted with watered down acrylic paint used to stain the board. Since acrylic is too thick to show transparency, the water helped to spread the pigments over the even surface, giving the desired look. The waves were difficult to produce, but hot glue and a fork helped to create the natural shape of real waves and gave it great texture. This resulted in a great 2/3D art piece.
